Not a resolution, but a place or an awareness that this ‘fits’.

Schools: I love doing what I do in schools…. in the past I’ve applied for school chaplaincy posts. Occasionally I have wild ideas about retraining as a teacher and working part time and the rest of the time voluntarily being a school chaplain in a state school…and then further dreaming about seeing if this could be a basis of a different way of being church….

….stop dreaming laddie (actually- keep dreaming all of the time- it is a way of being open, never growing up and having lots of crazy ideas; one or two of whom might be God’s ideas…)….. Going by my maxim of ‘where ever you go you are always there’, it is maybe enough right now to acknowledge that this is one thing I feel at home in; perhaps a strength.

Whatever: one of the things I get involved in and often come out thinking ‘wow-I get paid for this…but I love it!’
